Ate here in May 2007 because it was near my hotel. Very delicious Lebanese food, and I come from a city with a high Lebanese population, so that says a lot!Tara Salman

I was at Restaurant Le Cedre this evening with a friend of mine. At first I hesitated on crossing the river just for a Lebanese dinner in Warsaw, but my friend (let us call him Mr. H) talked me into going with him to this place, about which he had heard great things. The interior is not too bad in the dining hall; they have booths with big soft pillows that almost make you feel a little “Lawrence-of-Arabia-ish”. From the time we get seated until we get the menus about 15 minutes passes. I then go to the washroom to wash my hands, and that is when I see the most horrible thing I have ever witnessed. I have travelled by train from Ukraine to Bulgaria; I have been in Slovakian shanty towns, and I have slept at a one star hotel in Kolo; nowhere have I witnessed such a terrible mistake in interior design. No sane man, woman, or child would disagree with me on this one. The urinal and the sink are located no more than 7 cm apart! After a few seconds of shock I manage to take out my cell-phone-camera and I take a few pictures. I could go on for hours about this tragicomically interior but a restaurant should also be commented on its food and staff. The food was not very good. The starter was pretty descent. But the main course (zucchini with minced meat and cous cous) was terrible; the price was 125 zloty for two persons including drinks. I think the price was too high for the quality of food. We also got the sauce to our meal just before we had finished our plates. The staff was nice, the really were. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here for any other reason than to see the men’s toilet, as a prime example of how NOT to design your toilet. Regards JacobJacob Kubans

One of my favorite places, not just in Warsaw, but in Europe. Normally fail to get past the huge list of starters on the menu. Been eating here once a month, when possible, for around the last 5 years. Had a superb New Year's party here. Also, it provides one of the best take-away solutions for a party.David O'Driscoll
