Bródno Cemetery [Cmentarz Bródnowski]

Poland’s biggest cemetery serves the whole of Warsaw, and while other cemeteries pride themselves on the somber nature of the All Saints’ celebration this place takes on a bit of an entrepreneurial atmosphere – you may be surprised to find an array of stalls springing up outside, and a mini-market selling not just candles and flowers but plastic necklaces, slippers and other detritus that come in handy when visiting the dead.Calvinist
