No Chopinologist can leave Warsaw without first visiting the final resting place of his heart (the rest of him being in Paris’ famous Père Lachaise cemetery). Added to the church in 1882 his heart was sealed in an urn and then placed behind a tablet bearing his likeness specially carved by Leonardo Marconi.
