A wonderfully foggy pub for those who don’t mind drinking underneath a railway line. It’s not exactly a clever concept, and no more than an assembly of tightly packed tables and chairs, good tunes and an all-night crowd, but it works effectively and has the habit of becoming a time trap: enter at daylight, leave in the middle of the morning with strange phone numbers crumpled in your pocket. Punters tend to be more high brow than some of the surrounding drinking spots.
