The Witold Lutosławski Philharmonic in Wrocław represents one part of the history of Philharmonic in the city which has a long history and has played a major role in the music of the city. Built in 1862, concerts have been performed here 1878 and over the years Johannes Brahms, Joseph Joachim, Edward Grieg, Gustav Mahler and Max Bruch were all guests here. After WWII, a new group of enthusiasts brought the Philharmonic back to life and the Wrocław Philharmonic was created in 1954 with Witold Lutosławski becoming its patron in 1994.Box office open 11:00 - 15:00, 15:30 - 18:00.
