Opening hot on the heels of Indus, Spice India gives Wrocławians a worthwhile debate over where to find the city's best curry. Offering a large menu of eastern classics prepared with your choice of chicken, lamb, mutton, fish or strictly veggie, small portions demand that you order a side of rice and things can quickly become pricey for those that can't resist samosas and a mango lassi; fortunately students enjoy a 10% discount or stop in during lunch (11:00-16:00) for max value meal sets (17.99zł). An elegant, primarily white interior is enlivened by colourful place settings, paper lanterns and wall hangings, where svelte belly-dancers occasionally gyrate. All around authentic and appreciated.

The interior of this restaurant looks great, but when its comes down on the food, its quit a disappointment (curry, tikki masala ). Indian food should be spicy, unfortunately, it`s not. Even when you ask for it.The other Indian restaurant might be a better choice.
Super lunch offer with lot of things and the price is only 17.50. I went with my friends to try, and we left the place with stomach full. Really very good offer in this price. We are visiting almost twice a week for lunch there. If you want quick lunch with good price and quantity go to Spice India.
If you like indian food or its your first time , the only place where you can really feel the indian atmosphere and taste good and aromatic food is SPICE INDIA.I went there on Saturday , our friends enjoyed the bollywood dance . The restaurant was full , we were lucky that we got the place. If you are planning to go in group reserve your seat in advance.Indian mouth freshner we got after meal was great. Enjoyed. We are happy that somebody opened an Indian restaurant with real Indian taste. All the best.
I went for the first time with a group of 6 when it had just opened. Everything came late and at different times so we had to take turns watching each other eat. The food tasted nice enough but even though we all ordered different dishes they were almost the same! The owner's response was simply "so how much discount do you want?"I gave it 3 chances and every time we left feeling frustrated with the service and the food. Sorry to say never again. Go if you have thick skin and don't get frustrated easily.
Tried it out, and was not impressed. Had two chicken dishes and they were poorly prepared. Definitely not going there again.
Just got back, wow, what a surprise. They have a big menu with all the staples. Everything was very aromatic... and incredibly fresh. We took chicken samosas and fried prawns as starters, with lamb roghan and dum aloo. Everything was great, portions were big enough that we took some home with us. Their mango lassi is tasty too. It was empty when we went (sunday night), the owner came out and talked with us. Apparently they are full on Friday and Saturday, so hopefully it will stick around for a while. The service was pleasant and fairly attentive. The atmosphere was about as nice as you can expect for a basement restaurant. All in all, a great experience, will definately be going back.
I went there with my wife recently and we both had a really good time. Excellent food, good service and, unlike most Indian restaurants I've been to, an impressive interior. I've also heard that they have Bollywood dancers and a live band on some nights so I'll definitely be going back to check that out.
