The first Grycan ice cream parlour opened on Plac Grunwaldzki in the newly-Polish post-war Wrocław and the classy family franchise has since spread across the entire country, including four Wrocław locations. Unfortunately all of them are in shopping malls, but if you're in one and you’ve got a craving for ice-cream (or a child that does), then we recommend you have a few scoops in Grycan. They’ve got gourmet galore, including a tonne of flavours to choose from, plus coffees, cakes, pies, and other specialties. In the Renoma location, the play area for kids is great and keeps them occupied while you grab a seat in the back, enjoy the riverside plaza view, and take your time going through the endless choices in the menu to decide just how to appease your sweet tooth.
