Definitely entering into the conversation of Wrocław's best Italian, this fine-diner on the market square foregoes folksy trattoria trappings in favour of scarlet and burgundy surroundings, satin table dressings, fresh flowers and most of all fine ingredients. The menu begins with pizza, including a page inspired by specific members of Wrocław's gnome community, before covering an excellent range of authentic pastas, gnocchi, risottos, fish and meat entrees, complemented by an enormous list of European wines. The results are exquisite and the service very professional, explaining the large number of foreign business owners hashing out deals in the two level interior.

Dear Fabio, what´s polish "Da Andrea"? you cannot find bigos or pierogi there. If you are talking about quality, first of all you are unfair with Polish food, which in its way can be bad or excellent depending on the restaurant you choose (just like the italian one). Second, you have to keep into account that even if the results can never be the same as in the best restaurants which we find in italy (because ingredients are not the same, because even air, which is important for Pizza, is not the same....) they do make an half miracle over there! to be able to serve a nice cooked pasta fresca, an excellent piovra arrosto (so good octopus i never eat in Italy, i swear, only in Croatia), home made bread, orata and branzino... to be able to do this in Poland, is not a game for everyone and it deserves a minimal respect... that´s why i think Da Andrea is without any doubt the best italian restaurant in the lower Silesia.
How can you define that Italian? It is definitely Polish! Have you ever been to Italy?
