This small, popular eatery, across from the ul. Jatka gallery stalls (old shambles, a very picturesque former butchers' alley), looks like a rustic wooden cottage with the genuine Bolesławiec folkware on the tables, stout wooden tables, timber fittings and a thatched awning over the bar. Matching the design is the menu - conveniently available in three languages (Polish, English, and German) - featuring all the classics of the Polish culinary art, from scrambled eggs for breakfast, to a multitude of soups (żurek rye soup included) to pierogi in all forms, pork chucks, pork cutlets, pork knuckles, etc, but also more upscale goose and duck dishes. Basically tasty, mouthwatering but not exactly calorie deficient.
