Żak

Oompah-pah decorations, golden typewriters on the wall and waitresses sleeping on the tables mark this amusing little anomaly as one of the Old Town's more interesting restaurants. Geared towards German tourists, the menu features a range of surprisingly good dishes including a clear, peppery beetroot soup and old Polish tripe. Avoid if you're in a hurry or were on the winning side of WWII.
