Small, narrow and odd, Zakopane’s version of an Irish pub comes with green-padded booths and striped wallpaper obscured by whisky ads and a curious array of photos taken from the bottom of an ocean. The air-con keeps this place pleasingly refrigerated, while the drinks list numbers Guinness, Franziskaner and Strongbow. Strangely, the one thing you won’t find here are people, which is either good or bad depending on your social skills.
