Finding a place to stay in Zakopane is usually not a problem, although rooms do book up during the peak seasons, especially between the period just before Christmas and the beginning of March. The cheapest places to stay are in one of the many private rooms found all over town, which cost between 40 and 60zł per person per night. Signs for available rooms (wolne pokoje), guest rooms (pokoje gościnne) and rooms with bathrooms (pokoje z łazienkami) are literally everywhere.
