Ski runs

With a number of intermediate runs near the town centre and the alpine runs off mount Kasprowy Wierch, Zakopane offers the most varied skiing in Poland. Still, families and intermediate skiiers will find enought to keep them busy. The main problem with Zakopane's skiing scene is the frustratingly bad organisation of it all, which sometimes leaves foreigners shaking their heads in disbelief at such stupidity. Basically, some very simple changes would greatly improve the quality of service. But as always in Poland, old habits and under-the-table dealings prevent common sense prevailing
