Zakopane's restaurant scene is pretty one dimensional, with most restaurants following a strict formula: log-cutters décor, mountain men yodeling and huge pigs spinning on skewers – you’ll find the bulk of them lying on either side of Krupówki, with the official In Your Pocket seal of approval directed towards Sabała, Warta and Karczma Bacówka. You’re going to be lucky to come across anything that deviates from the tried and tested timber cabin experience, though Churrasco de Landa, Mała Szwacarja and Rooster do their best to offer something slightly different.
