This is the first place you’ll see as you step onto Krupówki, and it’s well worth getting to know better on account of great stomach-lining food and an atmosphere that never seems to die. Set in a great, big pointy roofed lodge this is the signature Zakopane experience, with grilled animals twisting on skewers in the entrance, and a log-cutters interior that never seems empty. If there’s space then grab a seat outside, from where you’ll be able to observe all the local talent and madmen as they drift endlessly by.
