Inside a little wooden chalet between the train and bus stations and the town centre, the official state tourist information point is primarily geared up for Polish visitors but is still a recommended place to begin finding out more about Zakopane and the Tatras. As well as being able to help you find a place to stay and arrange mountain guides, they also stock a small range of maps and guidebooks in English.
