Hidden away upstairs inside a nasty-looking modern building this rather fine museum, which unfortunately remains in Polish only, features a wealth of exhibits including short histories of the local mining and steel industries, photographs of local bats and flowers, some nice examples of folk art, models of Zakopane Style architecture and much more besides. The museum also organises activities including butter churning, cheese making and the occasional film show.
