An old favourite this one, it's been around as long as we’ve been coming to Brasov, and certainly isn’t for sale. Good cheap beer, cheery staff and plenty of regulars make it the nearest thing in these parts to a village local. There are regular events, from theme parties to live music; it also has an extensive list of bizarrely named cockatils. Find it south of the city centre.
