Barely changed in 20 years there is something rather wonderful about the Coroana. Located on
Republicii the location is perfect, and there is character and charm in abundance. It’s all very
1970s but that merely adds to the experience. Rooms are hardly huge but have private bathrooms and there’s a good breakfast too.

This hotel is in a very good location, right in the middle of the old town, and in a pedestrian precinct. It is easy to walk around from here. The reception staff seem to be friendly and helpful, and some speak good English. The restaurant is open mainly for breakfast, the waiter staff are very helpful. I found the hotel room, a double on the second floor, a little bit run down, especially the ensuite bathroom. But for a short stay, i stayed 3 night's, i would say good value for money.
