The most famous hotel in town, and still probably the best. Completely renovated a couple of  years ago you now get to stay in real comfort, with rooms boasting the plushest carpets in the city, perhaps even country. While the trademark art deco sign and building – visible from most parts of the city centre - remain, most people are now housed in the newer wing to the left. The entrance now is through the new building.
