  Unfortunately we decided to have out last meal in Brasov at Butoiul Sasului. I regularly eat out at restaurants and have dined all over the world but without a doubt this was the worst meal i've ever had. After being told that they had sold out of the first 3 things we requested (at 8pm on a Saturday), i then decided to order an apparently traditional saxon meal of chicken legs in white wine sauce. Our meals were bought out and instead of getting chicken i was given the entrecot of beef. In hindsight i should have taken this but intead sent it back requesting what i ordered. About 10 minutes later my meal arrived... I cut into one of the chicken legs and blood streamed out onto my plate! The same happened cutting into each of the others. I finally managed to track down the waiter who was out the front smoking and showed him the raw food and explained that it was disgraceful that any chef could serve it. He didn't seem surprised and once again no apology was given. I had to tell them to take it off the bill, it was never offered as was no complimentary drink or anything else as you'd expect from a 'marvellous' restaurant. Conveniently, the manager wasn't around either when i asked to speak to them. I hope other travellers to Brasov read this and do not go anywhere near this place - the service was rude and the food was not just terrible, it was dangerous! Prior to this we'd had great meals in Brasov (especially at Bella Musica) so don't let this place taint your memory of Brasov and Romanian dining like it has ours. Inyourpocket, i hope you investigate this place a bit more as the description of 'marvellous' is a long way off the mark and the meals you mention in certaintly weren't offered to us on the english menu. If this is a 'traditional romanian experience' then i'm surprised anyone would ever want to eat out.
