Take buses N°5 or 9 to the end of Strada Lunga to see the oldest church of Brasov. Started in the 13th century, St. Batholomeu was left in the suburbs when the Saxons decided to move their main settlement to Corona at the foot of Mount Tampa. You can wander through the well-tended churchyard and admire the old sundial on the outside of the church and the 'broken arch windows and vaults on gothic ogivs' inside.
