One of Romania's best art museums, and well worth the cheap admission price. The upper floor is a who's who of Romanian 20th century painting, with all the big names, including Theodor Pallady, Nicolae Grigorescu, Stefan Luchian and Horia Bernea well represented. Climb down into the cellar and view beautiful European crystal and porcelain as well as a large collection of Oriental vases and statuettes from China, Tibet and Old Persia.
