This little corner of the Hilton that will forever be associated with intrigue and spies (it has been around for nearly a century, as long as the hotel) remains today a classy bar serving champagne by the glass and much else besides (including a tremendous pint of Guinness). Packed with business leaders and expats most evenings it is hard not to love it. It is one of our regular haunts.

  Great place for a late night drink when arriving in Bucharest on the late flight from Amsterdam (by 12:30am you'll need a drink!).Cosy, friendly staff and peaceful
