NH Bucharest

Not located in the most attractive area of the city, the NH makes up for that by offering a modern, contemporary hotel experience for a fair amount of money: you can usually stay here for far less than the rack rates. Expect well sized rooms with plenty of extras and a very good on site restaurant. Good place to stay with children and babies: the staff make a point of making them feel welcome.

76 rooms (76 singles/doubles €150). Prices include VAT. Breakfast not included.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights recently. The area is not as bad as described. Behind the hotel is the Armenian quarter which is a bit run down in front is the Jewish quarter. The hotel is very close to Piata Unirii and the Unirii Boulevard. From the moment I arrived I found the staff extremely helpful. The receptionist Nicu gave me a quick "Heads Up" on the city its rstaurants and bars its transportation system. The breakfast waitress made a point of coming over for a conversation with me as I had breakfast in a most non intrusive way. Room was fantastic and price was very good. I completely recommend this hotel.
