Bucharest

This hotel is a good option budget-wise, near the main Bucuresti Nord Station, and also close to Bucuresti Basarab Station (not that the latter would mean anything to you unless you are interesting in villages in Southern Wallachia). The service is fair, the building is new, and prices are very good for Bucharest. There is a metro station 5 minutes away.Alex

I have stayed here on two ocassions, the reception staff speak English, and are very friendly and helpful. The hotel can provide transport from the hotel to the airport for a small charge, which was helpful, if you do not feel comfortable catching the 783 bus. The hotel is slightly tucked away from the main road, but is very close, 200 yard's , from the main railway station, Gare De Nord, so is not a bad location. Service and value for money, very good. The hotel does have a bar.Leigh Wallace
