Well, there are mussels and fries on the menu, so at least the Belgian national dish is present and correct. You will also find a reasonable range of other mildly Belgian dishes, though the biggest influence is probably France. The mutton chops were very good. The venue has a vaguely Parisian feel inside, although one part is positively Romanian rustic. Four years old and still going strong they do a lot very well, and if looking for reasonably priced good you can do far worse. Goes without saying that there are Belgian beers on the menu.

A big, bright and open plan cafe on Radu Beller (Dorobanti) branded as a Belgian beer cafe. And there is no doubt about the beer: there are plenty of Belgian beers present and correct, as well as a few Belgian touches in and around the bar. The food is not really Belgian, though as most people now seem to use this place as a (good) boozer rather than a place to eat, nobody seems to mind too much.

This is a rough and ready type place, with long bench seats - meaning you may find yourself sitting with a stranger who turns out to be the person of your dreams.
