Amazing how quickly this place became the default Bucharest 'meet you there' venue. Its genius is that it's ideal at every time of day: morning coffee or breakfast sat in front of one of the long windows or out on the terrace, a business lunch at one of the wooden tables, a meal and a late night at the bar. The food is good - simple and very reasonably priced - and this Dutch owned, friendly cafe is a winner: you will go back more than once. There is also a specialist wine bar downstairs, meeting and function rooms upstairs, and they now do a great brunch, on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00-16:00.

  This cafe is located in a great period property, but can get typically smoky in the evening. The non-smoking room downstairs (located in a former BNR safe room) is welcoming, while the wine selection is excellent. The menu comes with a good variety of international quickies, while the service is average (it depends on whether the place is full or not and on waiters' mood, whether they had rather congregate and chat or serve).

  great spot for people watching in pedestrianized Lipscani. I stayed at the next-door Rembrandt and would drink the light rose of local provenance every evening. Apart from the fact that they kept on trying to push the heavier wine, it was a very pleasant place and sit the world go by.

  s-a deschis de asemenea in Van Gogh Cafe la subsol crama. Este superba si vinurile sunt de buna calitate.Atmosfera placuta si linistita, crama arata extrem de interesant iar galeria de fotografii de pe pereti este impresionanta
