You can say what you like about this high-class place (and most party people in Bucharest have some kind of opinion), but to us it remains a very nice place to spend the evening, with its big windows and simple furnishings. The food is ristorante Italian, and very good, with enough fish dishes to make it appealing to sea food lovers, and though the big screen TV is annoying: that's the only fault we have. Staff are good and the wine list a cracker.

Went there as soon as we got in this town and we liked it so decided to go back for a family celebration.- The staff probably was very tired as they were not paying attention at all, smiling was possible, when putting whine or water in glasses I was splashed and no excuse came from the waiter. - The menu is now very limited to just 4 kind of not special at all dishes of pasta, definitively not cooked by an Italian cook, could meat, and very, very, very wired looking veal Capraccio.- The music was so loud and....tasteless.- The worst thing was the smoke in that restaurant. Now I understand that here in Bucharest smoke attitude is very very different from mire, but I can guarantee you that we could not see through to the other side of the table, had tearing eyes, could not really taste the food, and when arrived home was stinking horribly and had to wash top to toe, clothes included. This should not happen in an elegant restaurant. They have to fix the ventilation system urgently, then the rest.
I have been in Romania for almost two years. This is the most reliable restaurent in the city in terms of food and services. The best part is pasta and sea food. Also, you can bust to have all four courses without getting full...great for ladies:-)
I was there a couple of months ago entertaining my colleagues. It came to my surprise when i noticed an extra dish charged to my bill. I dont know for sure if this was added deliberately or otherwise, but i think such a reputable restaurant should not make this kind of mistake at all. By the way, there was no apology at all from the staff.
Expensive, but worth it, in the summer at least. The terrace is wonderful, with plenty of space between tables, and a beautiful view of the lake. The service is the best I have received in Bucharest, and the food is excellent. The people-watching is fun to say the least! I won't go too often - can't afford it - but for a treat now and then it is really enjoyable.
