Two wonderful restaurants. The food is fantastic, and the extensive menu covers every area of Japanese cuisine, from sushi to sashimi. The vibe is casual, the set menus are great value, and there is an Old Town location too. Staff are friendly and helpful, taking time out to explain the finer points of Japanese dining to beginners. Both locations are well worth a visit, and if you can’t get there in person, there’s home delivery too.

dis resturant is really cool..A+
As an expat I have tried many Sushi restaurants all over the world and what I can say is that this place meets the highest standards of Japanese cuisine. I enjoyed literally everything! From the second you step in, a friendly extremely nice managers welcomes you and seats you. Their highly trained waiters just offer you exactly what you would like to get and most importantly, the food is great. A never ended selection of sushi, maki, temaki and all sorts of combination to satisfy every taste. I even gave them my USB stick to put me their music in, and they agreed!!! I love that place and thank you for your time to read my review... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
I don't usually take the time to write reviews unless a place really pleases me or frustrates me. Today, unfortunately, I have to waste 10 minutes of my time to actually warn people of this restaurant. No offence to the above reviewers, if of course any of them are real, but this place is definitely NOT what they had described. The restaurant indeed has a nice and pleasant interior, in a mixed asian style, yet all the positives end here. I am from New York. Upon searching for any exotic food in the historic center of Bucharest, me and a female friend of mine, decided to dine here as it seemed a decent place. We have been seated outside, and, despite that the place was barely full we had to wait 10 minutes for the waiter to bring the menus and another 20 for him to ask us our order. Well, we ordered a big sushi platter for two and two glasses of whine. Now the story begins: my friend wanted a glass of white wine which the waiter said is no longer available, and ordered a red one instead. I ordered rose whine. The server brought us both red wine instead. After waiting for an hour, make no mistake, an hour, the food was still not given, even though I have asked the waiter two times where it was. The people who came before us have been served already...besides that, a lady that sat two tables away from us got her white wine 5 minutes after we asked for ours. The place is expensive for Bucharest, but by NY prices is pretty affordable. I paid off my wine and left. Unless you look for below average service, i would not suggest it. We left and ended up in the Divan bar along the street where we could enjoy turkish cuisine, good service and a hookah. p.s. have you ever seen a waiter who thinks he is above others just by working in an average restaurant, well this anomaly is present at SushiKO...despicable...
After looking for a Japanese place on the Internet and in some local magazines, we finally decided to try this traditional Japanese place as we heard that you get the most for your money... We ordered a crispy Salmon salad with a Kani Salad (crab) and a Royal Ko Roll sushi variety with a white wine suggested by this friendly waiter. As a desert, we had this famous sweet maki (Banana rolled in rice with some Nutella and nuts!!) and it was just YUMMII! Honestly I took the time to write this review just for the sake of sushi lovers... You should try it and it is indeed the best sushi restaurant BY FAR in Bucharest.
Cracking place! Worth every penny, wonderful food and not expensive. Taking the missus there for Valentines... she'll be happy, and therefore later, I'll be happy!
I just loved it. As sushi fanatic, all I can say is PERFECT!
The best Sushi restaurant in Bucharest by far. You get the most for your money. Lounge music and comfortable dining areas. professional and friendly service got my attention. Just perfect! See you soon...
