Another reason why Lipscani is such a trendy place to be these days. This cafe, bar, design studio, bookstore and general style-guru hang out is a great place to meet interesting people, to browse the wares and to enjoy a uniquely sophisticated environment.

Reading so many rave reviews about this place, I went to have lunch there one day. It was around one thirty in the pm, the place was empty, albeit so trendy it hurt, the waiters were idly lounging around. The sandwich menu seemed appetizing until we were told that most of the sandwiches advertised in the menu, were out of stock. So we ordered something they did have, waited for half an hour for two sandwiches which seemed stale and and two cappucinos. We wanted to order dessert as well and when I went up to inspect their pudding offering, I saw that their sandwiches were also displayed, sandwiches from the French Bakery. So we waited half an hour for sandwiches that were already assembled. Bad service, bad food. just go to the French Bakery, it has the same food. And at least it's fresh.
