When it opened this place was great: fine food at decent prices in a superb setting. Now it is so, so different, Expect average food at London prices in a setting utterly spoiled by the presence of a huge plasma television screen in the main dining room. The presence of a pizza chef should also send alarm bells ringing. They do serve Veuve Clicquot by the glass, however. The crowd remains as fitze and supercillious as you can imagine.

I have been in Romania for almost two years. This is the most reliable restaurent in the city in terms of food and services. The best part is pasta and sea food. Also, you can bust to have all four courses without getting full...great for ladies:-) - 30

I was there a couple of months ago entertaining my colleagues. It came to my surprise when i noticed an extra dish charged to my bill. I dont know for sure if this was added deliberately or otherwise, but i think such a reputable restaurant should not make this kind of mistake at all. By the way, there was no apology at all from the staff. - 01

Expensive, but worth it, in the summer at least. The terrace is wonderful, with plenty of space between tables, and a beautiful view of the lake. The service is the best I have received in Bucharest, and the food is excellent. The people-watching is fun to say the least! I won't go too often - can't afford it - but for a treat now and then it is really enjoyable.
