Even if Rossetya pretends to be one of the real Romanian restaurants of old Bucharest, it is only a try with not very good results. The dishes remind by name those of grandma's, but they don't have the same ingredients, they are based only on supermarket food. The waiters aren't able to talk about the dishes proposed. In fact, Rossetya is a beautiful story on their website and a beautiful place, but there is no reality alike inside. One advice for the expats: at Rossetya, they don't talk English.Dan

The service is very good here, and dishes remind one of grandma's. The cold starters (especially the ghiudem), the stuffed peppers and cabbage, as well as their apple pies are definitely recommended. A great place to taste traditional dishes listening to Maria Tanase, in a 19th century atmosphere. Thank you, Mr. Gulie!Alex
