Doing business in Russia
Since opening up after the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia, and in particular Moscow, has become an ever more attractive place to set up a business or get involved in entrepreneurial schemes. The days of mafia, gun-toting business men and cut-throat deals are fading away into the past and the market is becoming ever more open and secure for foreign investment.
However, doing business in Russia can still be very, very tricky - particularly due to the fact that complicated and seemingly unfathomable bureaucracy and red tape is a permanent fixture in Russian business dealings.
Regarding visas and working rights we have the whole complicated process explained
here. Regarding tax you can find a full up-to-date guide
