Air Travel

Russia used to have a bad reputation for air safety, but in recent years things have improved dramtically, especially with the main airline aeroflot updating all its planes and joining the Sky Team.

As far as the airports go they are still not quite up to European standards but they are getting there. Moscow has three main airports Sheremyetevo, Vnukovo and Domodedevo while St. Petersburg is served by Pulkovo airport.
