The Capital Shipping Company (Moscovskaya Sudokhodnaya Kompaniya) operates ships from the North River Terminal. You can take day trips outside of Moscow for as long as one hour to six hours, or you can take a cruise as far as St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don or Astrakhan. The most popular cruise is without a doubt, the river taxis that run every day in summer from Kievskaya to Proletarskaya metro stations.

A short trip along the Moscow River lasts about an hour and a half, and in summer it's one of the nicest way to see the city. Boats depart every 20 minutes (11:00 - 21:00) from metro Kievskaya . It costs 300 rbl for adults, 150 rbl for children 5-12 y.o. Trips outside of Moscow cost from 270 to 750 rbl and last from 1 to 6 hrs.
