Mr Lee

Dressed up like a colonial home in South East Asia Mr Lee mixes stylish Asian accessories with an old English library style topped off with elaborate modern light fittings. The menu crosses the whole of Asia, from sushi to sweet and sour pork, Vietnamese spring rolls all the way to Tom Yam and exotic chai. The big hits are found in the Thai section, while the Chinese doesn’t really hold its own and is a bit bland in comparison. The menu itself doesn’t do borders so you’ll need to study it well to find the exact tastes you are looking for.

Quite pricey (especially the sushi) but smart interior and some really good dishes. Recommend the Singapore noodles for value for money and the Thai green curry was good. Dim Sum tasty. Decent business lunch though it's a set menu each day of the week so check ahead to see which one takes your fancy.

Real posh 'Chinese' tried it last Saturday. You are right about the kitchen; spring rolls Thai and Korean dishes are good. Chinese not that spicy the sweet-sour pork was disappointing. Service and atmosphere excellent - and many interesting rich Russian and foreign visitors. With 4 persons our bill was 12 000rbl - we did not try the 75 000rbl wine bottles -) Dont forget it is a restaurant from the Novikov group.
