Khleb and Co

This swanky little bakery, near the Church of Christ the Saviour is just the spot to pick up a lunch time snack, breakfast croissant or a crusty fresh loaf to go with that soup you’re planning for dinner. The entrance way is the same door as for Restaurant Vertinski. Service is accommodating, packaging is slick and everything is baked according to the French bakery tradition. Also at ul. Tverskaya 17 (metro Tverskaya).

Not that impressed with this bakery. Bread is not bad. But the service is mediocre even for russian standards. Dont ask them to slice ther bread for you. They take it in the back and come back with a sliced loaf that looks like they pulled it apart piece by piece. Incredibly silly.
