This miniscule little sliver of a café has a real literary feel to it. Most of the 15 guests that you can squeeze in here have their heads stuck in a book or are scribbling down sketches on their napkins for display on the wall and even the excellent homemade cakes are apparently baked by Russian writer Tatiana Tolstoya. Everyone passing by seems to know the staff and combing that with the paired down antique shabby-chic décor you feel like you’ve just stepped into a New York based sitcom. The great art shop in the basement is also worth a look.
