When the copy cat coffee chains Starbucks, Coffee House and Costa started blanketing the streets of Moscow with their bland commercial cafes aiming for java-fuelled world domination, we really thought no-one else would dare enter the thoroughly saturated market. Enter Double Coffee, a Latvian café/bar/restaurant. They have decent coffee, a menu with proper food like pizzas and omelettes on it and an unusually welcoming café bar feel. A serious cut above in quality than their equally priced Russian competitors. Also on Stary Arbat.
