The dining room looks like it was pulled straight out of Versailles complete with gilded mirrors, heavy red velvet curtains, cut glass chandeliers, frescoes and as many antiques as you'd expect to find in a museum. The service is flawless and the exquisite meals are made with some of the best sourced ingredients available in Moscow. Their pre-/post- theatre menu is particularly extravagant and is the perfect compliment to a visit to the
Bolshoi theatre next door. Expect to be dining amongst Kremlin bigwigs, opera stars and major gourmands - so watch out for the paparazzi on your way out!

We came when the place was at about to close. Despite this the general manager, Italian, hosted us and also was entertaining with funny stories. We ended up in two hours in the bar. Cool place, excellent food, also they have some Russian dishes!
