Tucked away down an alley just beneath the arty cafe/club Masterskaya, little Lady Jane is an entirely pleasing surprise. The quaint set-up is halfway between a rundown stately home and a tidied up version of the artist studio themed club upstairs. The menu only amounts to around ten items including rib eye steak and sea bass, but the big reason that we fell in love at first spoon was the Lady's Thai dishes. Two Thai soups, a curry and a prawn rice dish all contain the most authentic balance of chili, lime, lemon grass and fresh coriander you can hardly believe they made it in Moscow. Outstanding. We just wish they were open for lunch too.

  Great little place perfect for a meal after the Bolshoi or a night out when the DJ gets going. Thai soups are superb and reasonably priced.
