Currently touring to promote their fourth album Velociraptor!, the British ‘lad rock’ band return to Moscow this spring. The band have been dogged their whole career by comparisons with Britpop super group Oasis, and in many ways the comparisons are not entirely unfair. They do produce those anthem-style guitar lead songs that glorify the lad culture of footy, cigarettes and booze. In recent years they’ve also been dabbling in psychedelic sounds a la Primal Scream, but essentially their swaggering Britpop formula remains the same.
