Their name tells a lot about the band’s poor Birmingham background before they made it in the music business, UB40 is in fact an acronym for the UK unemployment benefit form. The name is now all the more ironic given that four of the band’s founding members were declared bankrupt in 2011.And so the platinum record selling British reggae boys are back on the road, we presume earning their rent money. Lead singer Ali Campbell has been replaced by his brother Duncan in a tour which celebrates the 30th anniversary of their debut album Singing Off.
Tickets 1,800-25,000Rbl.
