William Blake and the British visionaries

Together with the help of Tate Britain, Moscow's Pushkin Fine Arts museum is bring the works of William Blake to Russian audiences for the first time. Dozens of etchings and watercolours by the celebrated 18th Century British poet and artist will be displayed alongside works by other British artists who were influenced by Blake such as Francis Bacon and Cecil Collins. Blake's famous illustrations such as The Last Judgement, Newton and his sketches for Dante's Divine Comedy and the writings of Shakespeare and Milton promise to be highlights of this educational exhibit.
