Pushkin Lyceum

Pushkin Lyceum
This intern school, closely connected to the Catherine’s Palace, was originally designed as a school for the younger members of the imperial family so that, as legend will have it, the young tsarevichs wouldn’t need to climb the stairs to visit the institution. Nowadays the Lyceum is most famous as being the place where Russia’s best loved poet, Alexander Pushkin (who the town is now named after), studied together with other future writers. As is the most famous alumni, exhibits focus on artifacts from his life.

Admission 30-200Rbl.
