Restaurants and Cafes in Pushkin
Ok, it is a small town but that doesn't mean you can't arrive with a big appetite! Russian food is dish of the day in Pushkin, with famous restaurants near the park offering up the full 'traditional Russian' experience. If you would rather just eat a picnic or attempt to do some barbequeing in the Alexandrovsky park head to the market in the Gostiny dvor on the main high street just before the park for some fresh produce or try one of the 5torichka supermarkets.

In Pavlovsk, dining opportunities, particularly with tourists in mind, has been largely neglected, though a few basic cafes and bistros have sprouted up next to the station. In summer, there are a few shashlik stands within the park who keep variable hours and a cafe in the palace itself offers Russian classics at reasonable prices. Your best bet for enjoying your day on a full stomach however lies in planning ahead and coming equipped with picnic supplies from one of St. Petersburg's supermarkets.
