This quaint vegetarian cafe is a nice place to relax and grab a healthy meal that won’t break the bank. On the first floor there is a counter where you can order already prepared food for a quick bite and on the second floor is a full-service restaurant. Its interior with books on the windowsills, green plants and waterfalls creates a refreshing atmosphere that leaves you relaxed when you leave. The friendly waiters bring complimentary mint water to each guest and explain the menu, which includes vegetarian, vegan and raw food options. And, for those of you who are artistically inclined, feel free to draw with the coloured pencils that sit on each table! Also at Mal. Konyushennaya ul. 14, ul. Vosstaniya 47 and 7-ya liniya 30.

Love this place. I eat here several times a month. Freshest vegetarian food around. I'm naw a vegetarian or raw foodie, but this place is fantastic.

Phenomenal food--this place would have lines around the block in NYC. We're not raw food folk per se, but loved all Ukrop's raw offerings: a raw "pizza" on basil leaf crust with chopped, lightly seasoned fresh tomatoes and shaved carrots. Also devoured the Herb Rissoles: ground walnuts and fresh herbs shaped into patties and served with a fresh avocado sauce. Soup was a vegan pumpkin-- puréed pumpkin with basil oil and toasted pumpkin seeds. Main course was linguine--cooked perfectly al dente--in a wonderful creamy sauce with mushrooms and truffle oil. Staff ignored us for a full fifteen minutes at first and was slow to serve--but seemed genuinely nice once they warmed up to us. Still getting used to Russian (non) service. Two of us shared the above dishes and ordered two pots of tea: dinner came to 1,200 rubles. P.S. Unfortunately Ukrop is alcohol free--but it's also one of the only smoke-free eateries in St. Petersburg. Kind of refreshing.
