Combines those foods we’ve been missing (ah the divine smell of Thai spices) with a great atmosphere we can’t stay away from. It’s cosy and relaxing with a more than healthy dose of good old fashioned hospitality. The decor of this self styled 'refuge', has been done out in the personal styles of the two American partners, and the menu blends together a mix of Thai, Chinese and Mexican which works marvellously.The Other Side comments

Something unusual and special is happening at the Other Side every Tuesday night. Chef Greg Easter is presenting Nouveau Russian cuisine for a prepaid clientele of 16 people each week. I think he may be the best chef now active in St Petersburg. The menu is designed by the chef. He worked and studied in California, Italy, and Russia. Greg Easter is an author of a book about cocktails over the last 100 years, and now is commissioned to write a book about the Nouveau Russian cuisine he has helped invent. Highly recommended! - 29
