St. Petersburg | Culture & Events | Circus

The Upsala circus is one of St. Petersburg’s brightest and most successful charities helping bring fun and joy into the lives of St. Petersburg’s street kids. The famous troupe gives local disadvantaged kids the chance to learn the trades of the circus such as juggling, clowning, acrobatics and dance as well as the strong physical and mental discipline that goes with being part of a professional circus. In this festival, which celebrates Upsala’s tenth birthday, they will be joined by similar circuses and musical, theatrical and dance collectives from Finland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Chechnya.
